Emeril has BAM. Bobby Flay has sizzle. But Sonoma has Cyrelle!

Sonoma County’s premiere Cutlery, Sonoma Cutlery, announces new cooking event to demonstrate the vegetarian palatable pleasures that can be created using local, organic, and healthy ingredients.

The cooking demonstration will be presented in a fun, informative, and hands-on format that will feature delicious dishes paired with wine from Longboard Vineyards. The first event is scheduled on March 7, 2012 from 7:00pm – 9:00pm. On March 7th, Sonoma Cutlery has partnered with Chef Cyrelle McDonald to bring to you a first of many Fresh Bites Culinary Events. Chef Cyrelle McDonald will be demonstrating how to cook, or better yet create, a delicious three course vegetarian meal that is organic, healthy, and finger lickin’ good. Be sure to wash your hands before sitting at this intimate dinner because the best way to learn is by doing and several portions of this event may be hands on.

The menu will feature the following:

1st Course – Grilled polenta squares with a parsley kale almond pesto & sautéed crimini mushrooms.

2nd Course – Quinoa salad with shredded carrots, thinly sliced red cabbage, and sliced fennel over arugula (with a lemon herb dressing)

3rd Course – Swiss chard stuffed with Ricotta, Parmesan, fresh parsley, lemon zest and marinara sauce.

As you are enjoying your flavorful food with pleasantly paired wine, be sure to leave some room for dessert. For an event as grand as this, we offer you the finest in custom desserts with a sumptuous cake from Bridget Adalaide’s Cake Gallery.

Sonoma Cutlery’s Fresh Bites Culinary Event is $15.00 per person, including wine and dessert. Space is limited.
